Minx who?

Yesterday, on a particular boring Wednesday,  I decided to have a little playabout with my nails. I love the leopard print effect of Minx nail wraps, but the cost is ridiculous for a bit of foil. So with a little imagination, & a hard attempt at keeping my hands steady, I produced this:

I was quite proud to say the least! It is also extremely simple. Why pay £30+ for Minx nails when it is so easy to recreate leopard print yourself with a few old nail polishes & a liquid eyeliner?!

Side note: Isn't it funny how people posting pictures of their nails almost always post their left hand? The right hand never looks as good.

An early morning, wasted...

This summer is killing me. I have no dollar, an inconsistent job, and no money to cover my extortionate July plans. My plans outweigh my chance to buy new clothes. So as much as I'd like a styling based blog, I think it will have to be put on hold. I have nothing new to post about.

So I have a new plan. I intend to use my blog to show how new outfits can be created from all those old, forgettable pieces you never bother with in your wardrobe. To show how style doesn't mean spending a ridiculous amount of money, and how with a lot of dedication, you can still make an effort with a bit of retouching and a few added extras to old, forgotten and worn out wears.
